We ALWAYS need help at our events and there are some things the kids just can't do. If you can work at our events, we'll run your dog for free. If you want to be a permanent part of our crew call Pat and she'll fill you in on all the details.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
FENCE CREW: Some of the fields we run in are not fenced so we put up our own. Come help us put our (very light weight) temporary fence up on Saturday morning and then take it down when the event is over.
FIELD CREW: Come work with us and with the dogs on the field: catch basin, gopher patrol, poop patrol, cleanup, setup, breakdown
PADDOCK HELPERS: Help keep dogs and people in the queue and ready to run
TABLE HELPERS: Help check people in, help with fitting collars, answer questions about what we do, etc.
You'll need to be on-site at 7:30 a.m. You can stay all day or work a partial shift or a split shift, but we need to know ahead of time. The events run until at least 2:30 (usually longer) and then we break down and roll up the fence (on unfenced fields) - about an additional 60-90 minutes. You can bring your dog out for 2 free runs but s/he must be kenneled while you're working.
Does your school require you to perform community service in order to get a grade? Now you can come out and play with us on the field and get SCHOOL CREDIT!
Please have your school administrator or teacher contact us by email to Jerrod and we'll get you started.
WHAT DO YOU GET?
We occasionally hire for four permanent positions. We provide full training
with other perks like breakfast and lunch plus free runs for your dogs:
