OUR SPRING AND SUMMER EVENTS

 Anyone with a dog is welcome at Luratics.  Our LARGE (full-scale) SUMMER events are usually the 2nd Saturday of the month, July-September in San Diego.  We've added SPRING mini-events in April, May & June, too. You can find our events on the calendar and can sign up in advance right here on our site.

 SHORT COURSE RUNS!

These runs are held twice a month after our Intro classes (OB school ball field) from 12-1pm. EXPERIENCED COURSERS ONLY. Fast, short and sweet, these runs will get your experienced courser ready for summer!  NOT SUITABLE  FOR SIGHTHOUNDS (IG's okay).


  • Limited entries - maximum of 10 dogs total for these 1-hour events so sign up soon!
  • There's a 2-run minimum for all dogs and all dogs run individually. Multiple dogs (housemates, packmates, buddies) can run together but that counts as one run per dog, plus you'll need to clear that with Pat prior to signing up. 
  • No membership is required!  
  • Live links will be up 2 months in advance, so check the calendar and get ready to run!

 RUN THE BIG COURSE!
Approximately 1,500 feet (+) of chasing the lure, complete with turns and all the speed your dog needs, all in a grassy, fenced-in field (Dusty Rhodes Park). Event runs 10:00 a.m.- 4:30 p.m.). Great exercise, lots of excitement, and fun for the whole family! This is a SIGHTHOUND-FRIENDLY FIELD.


  • There's a 2-run minimum for all dogs and all dogs run individually. Multiple dogs (housemates, packmates, buddies) can run together but that counts as one run per dog, plus you'll need to clear that with Pat prior to signing up.

Lure Coursing Fun-Run pre-entry pricing: $20/2 runs, and $7 for all additional runs (max 7/dog/day across all events, 5 max in lure coursing).  Day of event  entries are $25/2.

 FAST CAT FUN RUNS!
NEW FOR 2020: We'll be holding full-scale FastCAT fun runs alongside our regular lure coursing events (Dusty Rhodes Park)!  Event runs 10:00 a.m.- 4:30 p.m.).  This is a SIGHTHOUND-FRIENDLY FIELD. 


  • Timed runs in the 100-yard dash so your dog can work on speed and form - only from Luratics.  Live links will be up 2 months in advance, so check the calendar and get ready to run! 
  • 2-run minimum for all dogs  All dogs run individually. No membership is required!  

FastCAT Fun-Run pre-entry pricing: $20/2 runs, and $7 for all additional runs (max 7/dog/day across all events). Day of event  entries are $25/2.

  • Read our Rules and be willing to follow them;  
  • Then, click here to SIGN UP!  If the event you chose isn't live yet, Once in the Store, click on "Enter Your Dogs for Runs" at the top of the page. That will take you to our Event Calendar where you can purchase runs on whatever date you'd like. Our Store is secure, fast, and easy, and you can pay with PayPal. Best of all, your signup information will be forwarded to us and you'll be ready to go.
